I am a single mom of three daughters and one son. My son, Robert, is a member of our youth group and would fish every minute of the day if he could. I earned an A.S. in Biotechnology from Springfield Technical Community College, a B.S. in Biology from Trinity College in Hartford, and certification in Clinical Pathology from UMASS Lowell. I work part time as a secretary in the emergency room at Baystate Medical Center while taking courses in Clinical Lab Sciences at Springfield Technical Community College. I enjoy helping others and have volunteered my time with various organizations such as: WGBY TV, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Make a Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, and the Sacred Heart Athletic Association to name a few. As for my hobbies, I enjoy bowling and all outdoor activities, especially gardening; however, the beach is my favorite place to be.

The most fishing I have ever done was 26 years ago which consisted of an occasional cast into a small pond from shore. As for catching any fish, I accidentally caught a small trout once, but that's about it. Here I am among experienced anglers and no clue as to how to fish. Low and behold an old dog can be taught new tricks, as you can see by the 4.5 lb largemouth I am holding. This was caught on Lake Congamond in Southwick, MA using a baitcaster with a Grizz Baits' spinnerbait. Luck or skill? Since this is my one and only fish, it's most likely luck, but it's a start. Maybe one of these days I'll know enough to fish with the big boys in one of their tournaments, but for now, I'll enjoy time out in the sun and on the water casting away.
