My dad, Leslie Fifield, had sparked my interest in fishing at the age of six and I've been fishing ever since. We went fishing very often on local waters and tournaments, and still fish together on his 14 ft aluminum boat. I love fishing and had no preference as to the type of fishing as long as I had gotten to fish. I've done cat fishing, ocean fishing and ice fishing, but not much bass fishing until the summer of 2007. My favortie body of water to fish on is the Connecticut River. This is where I caught my largest largemouth (6 lbs) and my largest smallmouth (7 lbs). I have won many ice fishing derbies at the Oxbow as well as cat fishing derbies on the CT River.
My father has taught me everything I know about fishing, and therefore, I would like to thank him as well as my mother, Anne, for always allowing me and my siblings to go fishing whenever we wanted. I joined this club in March, 2008 to fish on a bass boat and learn more about bass fishing.
